Our Approach

Who we are

The Society Against Violence in Education (SAVE) is a Non-Profit organization working towards “ragging eradication in educational institutions.

It is run mainly by young professionals and students, who volunteer for the cause, over and above their regular jobs and/or studies.

The SAVE team is a diverse mix of people from different parts of India bearing different academic/professional backgrounds.

Our Mission

The Society for Violence in Education or SAVE is an independent non-profit organisation for students in educational institutions. Their mission is to protect the lives, right and dignity of students. The SAVE team is dedicated to assist victims of ragging and also try to work towards the eradication of this evil by building awareness of student rights. SAVE is wholeheartedly involved in building a positive and fun filled atmosphere across educational institutes all over India. 

There are many people, singularly, who individually want to “do something” to stop ragging. But their voices are often hushed up or mocked at. SAVE was created to unify the voices against ragging & provide a common platform to put forward their grievances.

But like the country, the diversity is united – united by the common commitment to make education ‘Ragging-Free’ !

There are many people, in various places, who individually want to “do something” to stop ragging. But isolated voices are often hushed up or are mocked at. SAVE was created to unify the voices against ragging to provide a common platform to the isolated, individual activists so that an organized, non-violent, civil society movement can be raised to address the issue.
