(FOR INTERNAL TEST ) Promoting a Culture of Respect: SAVE at Jamia Millia Islamia

We are pleased to share that Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi, organised a series of activities during its Anti-Ragging Week from 12th to 18th August 2026, aimed at creating greater awareness about student safety and a ragging-free campus.

We are especially proud that Mr. Gaurav Singhal, our Vice-President, Society Against Violence in Education (SAVE), was invited as a special speaker during the programme.

Mr. Singhal addressed students on the importance of preventing ragging and building an educational environment based on respect, dignity, responsibility and safety.

Such programmes are important because creating a ragging-free campus requires more than regulations-it requires students, faculty and administrators to work together and recognise their responsibility towards one another.

We sincerely appreciate Jamia Millia Islamia for its efforts to strengthen anti-ragging awareness and for providing a platform for meaningful dialogue on student safety.

SAVE remains committed to working with educational institutions to promote safe, respectful and violence-free campuses across India.
