As India celebrates the 73rd Republic Day on 26th January 2022, we wish you all a very happy Republic Day. Indeed, this is a day of pride and glory for every citizen of the largest democratic republic in the world.
On this day, we must thank the freedom fighters, whose selfless sacrifices paved the way for the democracy that we are enjoying.
This year is probably special in the sense that we just celebrated the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and this year India will also complete 75 years of independence.
As we know, on this day in 1950 the great Constitution of India was implemented. So, on this sacred day, let us also pledge to work for making our educational institutions safe for every student – following the guiding principles of our constitution like Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. The constitution assures the dignity of the individual and that must be respected everywhere, including in all academic institutions of the country.
We should strive for creating a healthy and brighter tomorrow when students can learn with fun! and not with fear; when the dignity of every individual, senior or junior, will be equally respected and protected; when no one will be forced to do any objectionable act; when every student will have the liberty to pursue his/her dream without fear or humiliation.
In this special year, as India celebrates the “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”, let’s play a constructive role in strengthening our great Nation. Jai Hind.
